A friend just gave me this Lee Kit manufactured in China.
1. Any reviews that you may know of?
2. I want to build it for a friend who served in Iraq with the 4th Infantry Division. Any special markings for the unit?
3. What is the base color?
4. What color would the tracks be?
Thanks!

The Lee M3 is probably the worst of the available Bradley kits. I would just build it out of box for your friend.

I agree with Rob. It is a horrible copy if the Tamiya M3 CFV.
It is also the wrong version if your friend was in 4ID in OIF. The kit represents an early Bradley from the 1980s. The current version is available from both Tamiya, as the M2A2 ODS, or Academy, as the M2A2 OIF Bradleys. They are basically the same, with the Academy one being slightly better, but it has old-style track that haven't been used since the early to mid '90s. Here is a post with more info on the Bradley and the available kits for them.
More Brad info.
For a Brad from 4ID, the markings would depend on what unit he was in, ie. what Battalion and BDE. Each had different markings. The color would be Testors Model Master Sand, FS# 33531. Tracks are mostly shiny metal due to constant polishing by the sand in Iraq. There may be minimal rust, but it gets polished off pretty quickly. The pads are rubber, so a black-grey color. Check this thread for more on painting tracks.
Let me know if you need more info.

well its not necessarily the wrong version if he is a scout in the 4th ID. If it was the friend that gave the M3 to him, then it might be cause thats what he's on, just not knowing that its the old M3.

The C.C. Lee kit is a copy of Tamiya's original M3A0 kit, so it is not coirrect for OIF. It is not an M3A2 ODS model. Yes, it is an M3 scout vehicle, just not a current one. Either way, it is a horrible kit, better to toss it in the trash can.
You can easily convert either the Academy M2A2 OIF or the Tamiya M2A2 ODS to an M3A2 ODS though. I plan on doing just that.
