OK, I have a DML British Valentine tank in my queue, with Accurate Armour replacement turret and other parts, as well as an Eduard PE kit. Of the possible versions to build, I'm going with the later British desert version with the light stone and green camo. However, one slight problem:

The replacement turret has several cubic boxes to place on its back, while the Eduard PE set also has a box to go in the same place, but a single large one instead. Which is the correct one for this version of the Valentine? Thank you.

Hi tom it al depends on the Unit that was using them also the time scale or period and mark of tank , the best book to obtain is long out of print but if you do a library search you may obtain a copy , Title is The Valentine in North Africa 192 -43 , by Bryan Perrett published in 1972 an Ian Alan publication , best of luck cheers ian

Well, that book doesn't specifically talk about which units used which stowage boxes, but look at the photos and match them up. That works for sure.
