John,
If it is the Vehicle Swartz-Grau that you want then the number is 995 (167) German Grey and US Olive Drab is 889 (91) These are the Model Colour Range numbers. In Model Air the numbers are 56 Swartz-Grau and 43 Olive Drab.
They are really great paints.

John,
Be prepared for quite different colours compared to Tamiya though. The Vallejo OD has a more grenish tint, compared to the dark brown of Tamiya. The Vallejo Panzergrau is much lighter than the Tamiya shade, and the Dunkelgelb is almost brown...
I thought I was going to switch over to Vallejo completely, and good as Vallejo is, I do find myself using Tamiya more recenctly. One thing I do not like about Vallejo is that it rubs of realy easy. Not good when you handle the model during painting... Tamiya in comparison is bullet proof even without primer.
Vallejo is superb for hand painting, where Tamiya is of course an aquired taste.
Cheers
Henk

Here you will find a new forum I started as a fan site for users of Vallejo acrylics. I know that there are lots of articles strewn across the web, but a central resource may help to ease people's use of these colours. The forum is intended for both armour and miniature painters. Come along and sign up, and help the knowledge to grow.
