Hi guys,

Well as I said in the last post a bit of a change of plan :-) :-) :-)

Here's a couple of pics of the rear deck. I had opriginally made it a 4 board deck and used the existing metal structure as a template but then having comepleted everything and got it all to fit nicely realised the the height was wrong so it is now a 3 board deck :-) :-) :-)

I'm not sure if it was only used for this purpose, but the only time I've seen a rear body like the one in the colour illustration, it used in the role of a fire tender.

Hi Geoff,

I'm going to have to put the build on hold as I don't have enough information about how the rear tray looks underneath and how it actually sits on the chassis. The Portee is on raised and strengthened beams and sits way too high just to build on top ,so I'll need to get some more information before I try and proceed any further LOL, LOL. AIn't that just life :-)
