Greetings all,

I need some pictures or plans of the rear tray for the Bedford QL. I was trying to convert the Portee but the kit tray sits way too high as it must have been strengthened and raised for purpose.

Does anyone have any photos of the underside of the tray and what it actually sits on on the chassis in QL format??

If I can find out length/width and how is was actually attached to the chassis I can build the rest on top with not too many problems but from what I can see the Portee tray is unsuitable. I'm not sure that cutting it down would help it may be better to build from scratch, it looks a bit wide to me.

Cheers

Al

If anyone happens to know who might be selling a copy of 'Bedford to Berlin and Beyond OL: The Forces Favourite 4 X 4' by Robert Coats that might also help.

I haven't been able to track down a copy yet.

Cheers
