Excellent work Miloslav. I'm really impressed with your skills.
Only thing I would comment is the blackened muzzle. I have never seen that on a modern AFV.

Woah Nelly that is great. Was wondering though is this OIF abrams? And what references did you use when you build this?
Great Work! Checking out your other photos as soon as I hit submit.

Simply beautiful! I always thought that the Abrams was a little plain to make a great model, but since I saw yours, I want to build one!
What kit is that? Dragon ?
Did you use a photo etch kit ?
Keep up the good work!

Just fantastic!!!!!!! The paint and weathering is spot on and the stowage looks perfect. I love all the little details you have added and this is definately one of the best M1's ive seen. It would really benefit from a crew though

Beautiful.
I agree on the black muzzle. It should not be blackened.

If you have ever "punched" a gun tube, you should understand perfectly why the end of the tube is stained black.
In the end, it all goes to the landfill, even you.

Okay...
Yet, the muzzle is not black. Look at photos of the real thing. I don't need to have done anything with or to a gun tube to rely on photographic evidence.
As an example, take a look at the large photo in the thread of Cretin and the barrel end is staring us in the face. No soot. And this tank saw plenty of action as evidenced by the black residue of the coaxle MG.

Hey Miloslav
Great work. Looks absolutely great. Just the black muzzle is not correct I believe. I would like to see more pics. Some of the back and some close ups please. I still wonder how you made those smoke grenades, those backpacks with rain cover..... Maybe yoy could fill us in

Again, if you had been a tanker, you would know that the unburned residue inside the tube , when cleaned with the rammer staff and wire bore brush dipped in solvent will TEMPORARILY stain the end of the tube. Depending on when the PHOTO was taken, the gun tube end may appear DARKENED, (as in after firing and field maintenance) or clean, as in having not been fired for awhile or after leaving the wash rack.
You seem to have copped an attitude. I don't wish to anger you, but you must realize that photos don't tell the whole story. Frankly ,to offer constructive criticism on a model built at this level , one should know exactly what one is talking about. I offer my information as one who has been there and done that. Please don't take offense,
regards,
Steve

Steve, I am not trying to cop an attitude - funny, the name of the tank discussed here is Attitude Adustment. Anyway, your original comment sure read like a smart ass comeback.
Yes, photos, especially one or two do not always tell the whole story. But thousands do. This subject has also been heatedly discussed here before by experienced tankers, of which I am not. I think your example above would be the exception, and not the rule. I do not have my photos with me at the moment, but I studied thousands for my OIF1 book and for the model I made for Sgt Olson, and I studied them at the time for the blackened muzzle, but found none. I also gave Miloslav photos of Attitude Adjustment and the barrel is not black.
I accept your experience is that the muzzle can be black, it's just that it is not common.
As an aside, I have seen lots of blackened muzzles on Paladins, and I have seen the outside of the muzzle in flames for a second or so immediately after a shot. I just have not seen this effect on Abrams'.
Respectfully,
Bob

It's magnificent. One of the best builds I have ever seen. Great job!
One comment - the cal 50 ammobox on the CWS seems to be placed the wrong way..?
