I am planning on scratch building the M-728 CEV in 1/72nd scale but need some help with the Booms that are attached to the turret. What I need to know is...what is the diameter of those booms? I have looked on every possible site, books and even went to an ANG armory but to no avail!! Can anyone please help??

"Gestimated "my build (1/35) as 6"dia - (from the drawing I have) --4mm tube ---so would think 2 mm rod reasonable for you

Jody,
Taken from the 1995 issue of FSM, the booms A' frame in 1/35th are 5/32nd and 1/8th. I do not have a scale converter but I'm sure someone here can break it down for you.
I have taken some photos of the build from the magazine, if you'd like I can email as much as possable.
