Hi,have just purchased AFV Club Cent,what a beaut!My prob is those vinyl tyres,what is the best method for cleaning and painting these tyres,or is AM the way to go?

Hi Dave, I don't think the tires need any cleanup, at least on mine Cent they didn't!
I heard that for painting vinyl the best way is to prime it with some acrylic primer, to slow down ageing.

Hi Greg,thanks for the tip,yes it was the preperation I was after prior to painting,so will go out and buy some primer.

Dave as Pedro mentioned, prime with an acrylic primer.
You may also wish to wash the in warm soapy water prior to priming to remove any residue from handling
