which camo was it? the green on german grey or the green on desert yellow?

I've heard and seen the green in grey and they dont contrast very much... theirs not much to do about this issue that i can see... i doubt its a problem with free hand imho

do you have pics you can get? it would be easier to comment

Well the colors i applied were a red brown and dark green to a german yellow or dunkelgelb? i am trying to work on the pictures right now but the camera leaves something to be desired. should i have lightened the base with some white to show the contrast? and when you apply camo do you apply multiple coats of the camo or just the on or two follow throughs?

sorry for all the questions but im rather anxious now about any future camo applications and im sure there will be many

ps wat paint viscosity and psi setting do you use?

Matthew,

There are many ways to apply German camo, and much depends on taste and ability. From your explanation I take that you are attempting a three colour soft edge camo. These can range from very strong and highly contrasted colours, right down to very faint colours which almost blend in with the base colour altogether. sounds like you managed the last way, if only by accident..
Looking forward to see some pics

Cheers
Henk
