Very nice, can you tell us what steps you took to back date it? i have the a6 kit in my stash and always prefered the old A4 shape. This is something I would consider doing as well.

Yes, if you could post some additional information of what it took to create the backdated Leopard 2 that would be great.

Hi. Jeez that 2A4 looks stuning. I am updating Revell's 2A4 but the amount of stuff I have to scratchbuild is daunting. At the moment I am rebuilding the rear of the turret by including the bussle box which will take me a few months.
What I would like to know is how you did that camo net. It is stunning.

I second that. How did you do that? looks like maybe spices like oregano or Basil were mixed in with the net?

Holy schmoly that's a nice looking Leopard! How'd you get that netting? It looks ultra realistic.
I love the Engine compartment - what kit did you use for that? Looks very detailed and realistic.
Only comment I would have is the the vision blocks and periscopes on the turret look a bit too blue for my tastes. But that's a very minor point compared to the overall awesomeness.

Engine is for Tamiya Real Model RMA 35037, for Italeri,Revell RMA 35017 (Leo 2), RMA 35004 for Leo 1.
Netting:
step 1: All model must paint and weathering, after this, netting material dip on watter with white paper glue and all netting make of on tank.
step 2: all netting sprinkle oregano or tea. After one or two day in possible this paint.

Beautiful looking Leopard. The old square shape of that turret is my favourite.
What 'material' exactly did you use for the camo netting, some kind of bandage or gauze?
