Okay,
I bought Dragon's M2A2 w/era for a first (real) attempt at a braille scale kit.
Is there anything isnparticular I should watch out for with this kit? Also, I could use some direction as to who makes modern jerry cans, tarps, backpacks, etc. in 1/72nd scale.

Thanks is advance,
Shaun

I have no experience with that particular kit, but I built dragon's M2A2 some time ago. It went together nicely. The only things to watch out were the headlights, which took some trimming to get them to fit correctly to the hull. Also, the tools molded to the hull side had to be removed to get a plate fitting correctly over them (don't know if this is also with the ERA version). The turret went together fine, but watch out the get all the parts lined up correctly.

Several companies make stowage in 1:72 scale. Here's a list of manufacturers making accessories on "On The Way!"
http://www.ontheway.org.uk/kitlists/manufacturers.htm

After a quick check, at least these manufacturers make suitable-looking stowage & stuff:
Goffy Models
CMK
Legend (M2A2 Bradley OIF Stowage Set here)

I hope this is of any help.

It still has a lot of the swim barrier equipment molded on. It should be removed.

I'm a 1/35 scale bloke but 1/72 are great.

Look for reviews here and decide for yourself.

I have WIP Tiger 1, Hummel, AAV, from DML

Leclerc from Revell, and yet to start the ferdinand from trumpeter, and the M2A2 DML kits. Quick, easy and don't take up much room.

I'm hooked.

Cheers and good luck.

I've built the kit and didn't have any problems w/the kit. Goffy Models makes and excellent set of modern US equipment-Gas cans, Rucksacks, M4 Carbines-this set is for the AAV7a1 but, will work for the Bradley. They also make a set of tarps that will work as well

Goffy has these 3 items

7207-Rucksacks, duffle bags, water jugs, mermites
7236-Tarps, rucksacks, fuel cans
7237-rucksacks, fuel cans, M4 Carbines
