This is a model I built to exercise basic building and painting skills. It placed as a silver in the Mid-West AMPS Regional in October proving to me that a sound build even out of the box can be a medal winner.

Going nuts the last couple of evenings trying to figure out a good realistic way to make WW2 British camo nets with the cloth strips in them so far nothing looks right.

Hey Rob that T-72 looks great. I am currently building the same kit markings and all. Its for the greatest tanks campaign.

I just need to weather it and I am all set.

You may have seen this already but here is an article on making that British Hessian netting.

Hessian Netting

I am going to try it on my Cromwell.

Very nice work on your T-72, Rob. Paint finish and weathering are excellent. I really like how you did the tracks too.

Keep up the good work !

Cheers !!

Hey Rob!

I tried that Hessian tape technique on my M4A2 a couple years ago.

I can bring it to the KC AMPS meeting and we can discuss it, if you wish.
