These two will go with my HEMTT Fueler. Just finished the IBA vests. Now starting the DCUs. I am used to doing 19th century figures and WWII Allied figures, so camo is not my thing. Slow going...
I know the back of the helmets don't match, but I am not worried about it. Both figures will have their backs fairly close to the truck, so it will be hard to compare. Such is the problem of using different manufacturers, but I was determined to go with an African American head (DML) and I liked the Alpine head for the open mouth.

Hi there. Great paint job. I'm having problem trying to understand how you can get the camo so perfect. Did you free hand or airbrushed? They are so perfect. Please do tell.

Charles, nothing special. Just study the real thing and handpaint. I think what helps is outlining the straps and whatnot, which helps pop out the details and make it more three dimensional. And a little highlighting here and there too.

HI Robert,
Nice figures. I like Dragons Modern US Marines too. I find myself using the torsos quite often for the body armor and vests. Great details, not expensive, and relatively easy to kitbash with other figures to get the desired poses. Yours are coming out very well
