Miloslav,

Outstanding! Looks really good. Tell us how the Zvezda kit went together and why you chose the M1A1.

Hi, I have all Abrams, me miss only old Tamiya M1 and I build all progressively.
Zvezda- Italeri is no bad, this is good model but new DML is best.

This kit seems a little unusual.

It seems to be mostly an Italeri kit with some parts from the DML AIM, but the turret looks like Trumpeter's? The first and last pic shows the angle of the turret face to be off, just like the Trumpeter kit; but the turret has the bullet-shaped tow cable guards molded in - or was that a scratchbuilt detail?

So is the Zvezda kit a re-pop of the Italeri kit or the Trumpeter kit?
Or did you just use a Trumpeter turret for the heck of it, and if so-why??

It looks like it is coming along nicely.

As to what kit it is, not sure, but it could be the Zvezda/Italeri kit. Italeri used Trumpeter's kit for their base model and appoved upon it. They did miss the turret front angles though.

Are you pertaining to Italeri or Zvezda? I guess it must be the latter, as Italeri made a fairly good representation of the turret, IMHO.

Italerr and Zvezda it is the same model. My model Is Zvezda hull and Trumpeter turret, I use Zvetda turret for next M1A1(I have only Dragon hull ). I wish build all Abrams for confrontation.
