I could use some advise on how to weather rubber tires like those osed on military trucks. TIA, Jon

Hello,
I could suggest the following :
Step 1 : Apply wash of your choice color to the treads of the tyres.
Step 2 : Apply the same color with a toothpick to the sidewalls in a pattern you see suitable.
Step 3 : For rubber damage in the tyre (cracks, nicks, blooming in the shoulders, treads or sidewalls) use a very sharp pointed pin or the tip of a brand new Xacto blade (very very careful with the latter as you can end up with an unrealistic damage which would actually disable the vehicle)
Final : Pay attention that you also watch the fact that the wheels will be affected by the same elements.
