i have a idea for a dio that involves the stand off between u.s. and russian forces at checkpoint charlie during 1961. i'm thinking of a couple of tanks, some soldiers and that world famous sign saying your leaving the american sector. what i'm wondering is that in the pictures i have seen i haven't seen the sign. how close to the street was it and would it be wrong to add the checkpoint to the dio? i know it wasn't there when the stand off was happening. would anyone be interested in making me this dio?

For many people, CPC became the symbol of the Berlin Wall and even East/West.relations at tha time. Those who never saw it in real life must remember it from several spy movies.
Doesn't Elton John's Nikita clip feature it too ?
Are there any Armorama members who were stationed in the Berlin Brigade ?
