Still need to do some shading and highlighting of the DCUs. Fit problems with the left arm of the one figure, but no big deal. Still have to do a gloss coat on the goggles. I might go back over some of the outlining I did. Some of those lines seem a bit too thick. I decided to leave the canteens off.

Wow Rob they look great, the camo on the vests look real sharp. How will they be used with the HEMTT.

Very nice work.
What manufacturer are they?
One thing, why has the M16 only got a 20 round magazine? I thought they only issued the 30 round mag these days.

Have to agree, they look great, but the 20 round magazine is not used any longer.

Hmm. Will have to think about this. I chose that Verlinden arm because the hand was already nicely gripping the M16. I too noticed the smaller magazine but decided to live with it. I am not sure I want to break the arm off to cut the mag off, but I suppose I can since I still have to attach another arm anyway and deal with that small amount of painting that will go with that.
The squatting figure is a mishmash of Verlinden and DML Marine. Lower part Verlinden and upper part DML. I went with the DML head, although it is a little weak, especially with the ears and chin strap. I added a goggle head band.
The other figure is DML Marine w/ a new pointing arm. The raised arm works because the kit arm was raised too (it had a radio handset up to the ear), thus the shoulder position is correct. It has an Alpine head. I had to add a chin strap.
Thanks for the pointer.
