I need some help. I am building Kolobanovs KV-1E tank # 864 and I am getting close to finishing the paint job. I need some references of Russian tank numbers for style, height, etc.
Thanks in advance

Brian- I don,t think the Soviets had a set height for their turret numbers. From what I have seen in photos the heights vary in size and style. Archer Fine Transfers has a 1/35th set of Generic Soviet Turret Numbers, now these numbers have style. Better yet, go to Google, and punch in KV-1. It has some good photos of KV-1,s. Cheers-

I can only agree with MIG-17.
The style and sizes varies a lot even within the same tank type. Notice that sometimes cyrilic letters were also mixed in with the numbers of the tank to denote unit etc.
