Here are a few pics of my Dragon M4A2.
The model is OOB.
I'm using it in a dio, so the finishing touches will be added after I mount it.
As always comments/feedback are always welcome.

Hi Schultz. Looks like a good clean build. Im no Sherman expert so I cant comment on any details. I like the weathering and how its added. Personally I would prefer some variances on colour, both with the drab colour of the tank and sand colour ofthe dust ... just to add that little extra. Something to keep in mind maybe when you add it to the diorama? Maybe some stowage items would even do the trick.
How was the build ... any troublesome parts? And the tracks ... any noteworthy mentions on them ... painting, fit, etc. I was lucky enough to win this model in the september MOM and it looks great in the box, but its always great to get the opinions of some one who has built it!

Plastic, thanx for the comments.
Im gonna mount the tank where it's sunk in the sand. I plan on adding more sand and use some future to make the sand look wet. The tank was shaded but I may have covered it up with the sand. It's a great kit you've won. It goes together like a dream. I had to cut out a link on my tracks to make them tigher. Test fit them before you glue. I may not have set my idler wheel correctly. Becarefull cutting the parts off the sprue, some of the parts are very fragile.

Gday Sarge
This has scrubbed up well! This is the first I've seen of this kit built, and you look to have done a great job.
Do you have any plans to use the Tarawa figures? Keep us posted on the dio progress too!
Cheers
Brad

Nice looking Sherman, obviously another one to add to the 'to get list'.
About the only change I would make is to paint the red on the right hand tail light over with black. Shermans had only one stop light (on the left) the other was part of the night driving system. Another bit of Sherman trivia

Thanx, Gbkirsh!
Honeycut, I'm working on the Tarawa figures now. They are really cool. I'm using oils so it's a little slow going.
Drader, thank you for the tip on the tail light. I'll be sure to fix that.
AlanL, Thanks for your comment.
Modelrama, I'm starting the base tonight. Ill keep you posted on the progress as I'll be turning to the forum for tips and feedback.
