French spin on the portee theme with something bigger than a 2pdr - evidently hammer-built as there's a mobile forge in the foreground

Curved shield makes me think it's the 50mm PaK 38. Perhaps if I had proper look at the site, I might find some more info, like what the chassis might be...

Or not....

The only other mention of a Conus gun (named after the inventor and built at Tel-el-Kebir) is on this page and features the classic French 75

The text is also vague about the chassis used.

Looks like a Pak 38 to me. Chassis is CMP, maybe #12 cab. More views would be nice.

Yeah, driving a Pz III or IV that would pretty much ruin your day if you were expecting 2 pdrs, wouldn't it?
