I could be mistaken, but I believe only the US Army uses the M109A6 Paladin. I think the last variant available to foreign countries is the M109A5.

Rob is correct, the M109A6 is not for foreign slae...yet. THe IDF uses either the M109A3 or -A5 (not sure without looking it up). Here is a link to the BEST VALUE MODELS M109 IDF conversion

Thomas,
I say go for it. Even though the IDF doesn't use the Paladin you could still build it and finish it as an IDF AFV.
You could add a .50 Cal on the main gun barrel, a MAG 58 for the loader's hatch, and stowage racks on the turret front.
IDF paint and markings would look great on a Paladin.
Here's a link that should help you out:

I'm not sure the Paladin is still in production. Most, if not all, were remanufactured from earlier M109A2/A3. I toured the BMY factory in 2002 and I got the impression that Paladin production was done or close to done. The Crusader was cancelled in the same year so the truth may have changed and production may have not stopped.Rob is correct, the M109A6 is not for foreign slae...yet. The IDF use the M109A2 as the Doher... if the kit you have is the A2 then you should be able to scratch build the conversions... though the turret is NOT the same, I do believe Verlinden makes a conversion set, but I did use Best Value Models for the conversion! I have tons of pics if you'd like them email me...

I have to agree with ROB. The M109A6 Paldin is a US only vehicle. Also, backdating an A6 to an A5 IDF Doher would take a lot of work. The whole turret is different. If you want an actual IDF vehicle, not a what-if IDF Paladin, the best bet is to get an older Italeri M109A2 or the Best Value Doher kit.

Yup, as I said before, M109A6 Paladin is only used by the US. The pic you are refering to (below) is an IDF M109 Rochev, an upgraded m109A2.
