2007 sounds exciting so far for 1/48.
New kits include the Gaz-67B and the Crusader (I & II)
I hope the Crusader marks the beginning of a trend of North African and Miditerranean releases. It would sure be great to get an M4A2 (w/ proper steel chevron tracks), some true early M4's and an Italian tank or two

Just got my M26 in the mail today. It is a very nice kit, one of the nicest US armor kits in 1/48 scale. Right now I'm also working on the Hobby Boss M4A3E8 Sherman. I'd give it marks over the Tamiya kit because of the plastic hull versus Tamiya's diecast hull.
I would like to see a Korean War version of the Pershing. It looks like a simple mold swap with the tracks and some detail pieces would make this an M26A1 and even an M46 Patton.
