Welcome to Armorama, Fernando!
Nice work. Weathering looks great.
I've never seen it on shelf at LHS, who is the producer of this kit?

I think this is the ICM it-28 bridgelayer.
Well done, IMO the painting and weathering is superb.

It is indeed the ICM IT-28, kit number 35081. I'm building one right now too and I must say Fernando, this one you've got going is sharp!! Very nice weathering! Did you use the kit supplied "wood planks" for the bridge? I'll be watching this as you go along. Was your's as messy as mine with regards to release agent and seam lines? Mine was horrid!
A quick single of where I'm at now.
Keep it coming!
Mike

Thanks for your welcome,
The scale model is of ICM, like good says.
Mike, in the box of the scale model had not kit extra, but I chaged the plastic pieces by real wood. it's a hard work but it is better.
Please, if has photos of the IT28, Can you send me?, I will give you thank you very much, very much... ([email protected]).
In future, I will put more photos...
Regards,
Fernando Sancho.

Fernando,
I have found NO pictures of an IT-28. There are several out there of the T-28 which help, but not of the bridge layer. I hope someone else can help....I'd be exceptionally grateful too.
I too have gotten rid of the plastic wood pieces and am using balsa wood that is stained a dark oak. Looks good I believe.
Looking forward to your progress....very nice job for a poorly molded model!

Hello Mike,
We are annoyed!… if I find something you will send it, but I believe that it is very difficult.
According to your building and paiting with your scale model, you put photos, please.

Fernando,
Really, really nice layout. You are putting your -28 in a very similar dio that I am thinking about. One small thing that really may set this off; as your bridge is layed over the stream, it will crush the wire fence...this is something that would be "normal." I am sure the soldiers would NOT care if the fence was damaged nor would they take the time to "break it" down. Why when the bridge will do that! I also like the realism and simplicity of the fence. Great!
I still very much like the weathering you have done on the tank and the mud on the bridge...very nice.
Are you not going to put the "steel plates" on the ends of each of the trusses? If not, why out of curiosity?
I searched again, and have no IT-28 pictures in any of my reference books, and spent a lot of time searching the Internet with no luck either.
I also like the way you have the roots from the grass and bushes sticking out. Are you going to keep the "dirt" color the same or add to it?
One other thing to consider is "boxing" the sides. That is, putting a base under it with finished wood covering the sides and end (except where the water is). It will give it a nice, clean, professional appearance.
Coming along quite nice. Looking forward to see how you run the cables from the tank to the bridge.....I still have not quite figured just how that works!
Regards!!

Hi Fernando,
That is coming along really nicely and the earthen effects on the stream cutting looks really excellent. It is nice to see a dio of the bridge being launched and it will really look the part and will look even better if you do box in the edges.
Are you going to add any figures, which will serve to give a true impression of the scale.
Smashing job.
John

Hello again Mike,
Thank you very much for your comments.
I look again the instructions de step to step of the model scala, and this instructions, the “steel plates” put what your site is between sections, so I did this way.
Ufffff, I look very difficult , put it “boxing” in the sides, I don’t know as… but for next project, it will be a good idea or concept.
I want put one or two figures , but I want to see final score the phase of painting, I ‘ve never been painted figures.
I hope yours answer of my e-mail my friend. Do you see?.
Keep in touch, Regards,
Fernando Sancho

Fernando!!
Show me! What's new with your dio??? Don't keep us waiting!
By the way, the CD arrived today! Wow! I've managed to find some decent T-28 pictures, but you have WAY more than I have ever seen. VERY nice!!!
On mine, I've only managed to get all the road wheels in place and aligned. Only problem I have is that the lower "tub" is slightly crooked by about 2 mm front-to-back and left-to-right. Next up is the fun stuff...the indy links. I tried to order a set of ModelKasten links, but never got a response back from the company, so the (auto-censored) with them; I'll use the ICM links.
Oh, for whatever reason, the pictures of your dio are now the dreaded "red X's."
Looking forward to seeing more from you. Happy holidays my friend, happy holidays!!!
