I don't normally build figures, but I have a commission to do a diorama of a Kangaroo with the section debussing for the assault. I'm looking for 4-5 figures. One driver for the Ram (probably Ultracast, but I'm open to others), another operating the .30 MG on the turret ring and then 2-3 more exiting the vehicle and/or crouching forward in the assault.
Question is, I don't know of any half-decent collections of UK figures that I can use for this. Any suggestions?
I might be able to scare one up out of the Airfix multipose set, but no more than one 'cause they're so out of scale.
Help?
Paul

I'd try the Resicast range, they seem to offer the largest selection of British/Commonwealth infantry. They even have a few figures riding on or climbing on vehicles. There is always the DML Normandy British set or their earlier one for some alternatives (the crouching poses). I can not think of a suitable figure for the gunner however.

The last Dragon set gives good options for bastardisation providing you have a selection of heads and arms.

I agree with the above also, ultracast do have some British/CDN in action poses as well. The nicest plastic set out there is the latest DML set though.

Paul, check out Accurate Armour, they also do some great Brit WWII figures. If you see any Resicast or AA figures you like, give me a shout 'cos I might have them and if I have........ I'll offer them at a reasonable price.

I've been having a think about your dilemma. A box ot the early DML British troops and the newest ones should solve it. Bren gun team on the ground laying down covering fire then mix and match the legs from the two sets for troops jumping off the vehicle. There's enough torsoes leaning forwards to capture the dynamics of someone debussing. Just an idea..........I have to admit I prefer building figures to armour...LOL
