Greetings,
I am working on my first armor kit which is a Tamiya 1/35 Abrams. I need to fasten the side armor panels to the tank body and this is looking like a tricky assembly step as there doesn't seem to be much mating surface. Can anyone familiar with this kit give me some advice on the best way to attach the pieces? I would sure hate to goof the model up now. Thanks in advance.

Best method is to use liquid glue. Hold the side skirt in place and run the glue applicator brush along the seam where the parts come together. Hold it in place a few seconds to let it set up and that is it. Good luck.

use some good old fashion masking tape. When you have it where you want the the pieces to be just glue it.Hope that will help you and good luck with your Abrams.
