G'day,
You have certainly done a terrific job on that panther, very well done. My only question is why? This must be one of the worst kits I've ever seen and to spend so much time on it seems unwarranted to me, your skills seem to be worthy of much better kits.

You missed the point. It takes skill to make a silk purse out of a sows ear. Look at what Shep Paine did with all those old Monogram kits back when. That's modeling.

Hi Guys,
Couple of things - it isnt a show model, its for wargaming. I make em up for people so I dont get a lot of choice sometimes. Unfortunately because of this theres a limit to the corrections I can do also as its all extra time ...... In this case the gent requested an Esci Panther if I could get hold of one ..........
I'd love to have ago at one of the Dragon or Revell ones but havent had a chance yet !
cheers

The finished model looks like a much bigger scale than 1/72nd!! If I were to take a guess it looks like 1/35th!
Such a nice job on the weathering!! I really like it.

I agree with Jeff. I was thinking this has to be a 1/35th. Good job!

Great work, Brent. I love that "chipped" weathering technique. Are the darker "chips" — for example on the mantlet, or the top of the glacis plate — painted under or over the body colour?

Bad kit or not. It looks great. I thought it would be 1/35th too.
