Excellent, I was hoping Tristar or Dragon would release one of these puppies. I've had a dio idea involving one of these for some time.

Wonder if this one will be released along the same time frame as the StuG G? Either way it's a welcome addition to the fold, be interesting to see how many VM/Maquette kits end up on E-bay as a result.

It may be WILD speculation on my part, but I believe DML will continue with the 'Variants' rather than the 'basic' version. Probably something to do with the two superb kits fone by Tristar. As I say, little more than 'gut' feeling...

I am waiting for greatmodels.com to offer a pre-order. Their prices are usually pretty competetive.

I too am excited about this release. As far as the other companies go I believe Italeri just put the same kit out I think its #6446 or 4664 something like that. It is very cool that all the companies have been going back to early ww2 german armor. I havent been modelling much but this all seems cyclical.

thats an odd looking rig, and I love the 38(t)'s wheels and tiny tracks and the 2cm turret setup, I just started tinkering with the 251/23 ausf D CH kit too. They should of included the fantastic brass barrel included in that kit. The gun is detailed enough and the 38(t) is pretty simple it doesn't need a lot of etch either.
