I am currently building Tamiyas M26 Pershing, and are trying to verify the markings on Sgt. R. Earlys Pershing known from the movie from Colonge.
It has a number on the front armor instead of the star and seems to have the same number on the sideskirts towards the rear - can anybody give me the correct number and verify if its the same number seen on the skirts - or a name ?
Is there any aftermarket decals for this tank ?
Cheers

The tank was Pershing SN # 26, Registration # 30119836. The number is on the front of the hull in one picture I have. Stills from the movie are also in one book, but the pictures are not too clear. It looks like the reg number was painted on the side skirts at the back end of the center section. There is a series of numbers on the rear skirt section that are common to all the Pershings, but the last few numbers seem to change from tank to tank. Be crareful. At least one picture I have was printed backwards.
Good luck, and hopefully some one may have better pictures than me.

Thx mate,
I propably have the same stills from the movie, but I have only been able to read the last 4 digits on the front armor, the rest is too blurry.
Cheers
