Very nice... love the stowage and weathering. A nice change after all the desert painted tanks lately. Are the boxes aftermarket?

Thanks for the comment mate! The MRE boxes came in the kit, and the Gulfa Musafi water boxes were given to me...

Looks good. The rucks on the right side are a little off though. Rucksacks don't come in sand. Large rucks (left one) only come in dark green, the medium rucks come in dark green or woodland camo. The CIP on the left side of the turret is upside down too. Sleeping bag stuff sacks should be black, Tamiya has the colors all jacked up on their Modern US Equipment set. Also, it looks like you have some of your road wheels painted brown. US roadwheels come in green or sand, we don't carry the camo down onto them. Good job on the paint and weathering.

May I ask what you used to make those cris-crossed tie-down straps that are on top of the stowed gear on top of the turret?

thanks for the comments guys... and the suggestions Gino!
Marathon, the straps are made from the left over paper from the MRE boxes that came in the kit... all I did was eye them up to size and cut a length...

Very nice looking tank. The "Quarter Cav" bumper numbers look cool. One suggestion would be to secure the 20 MM ammo cans on the right turret storage box. The way they sit now they would be lost less than half a mile down the trail.

Very nice looking beast you've got there, can you please show me (maybe even with a pic) how you did (fill) the smoke-dischargers?

Hey there
Great model dude.
I like the rear tail lights, is that a dot of white paint I see or have you varnished them.

I put a blob of varnish on the cumpass in the middle. Only thing is I couldn't find out what that white piece was actually was. Anybody know? I only guessed it was a compass, sorry if it is not. I like it anyway.
Well Done anyway

White blobs are light reflecting off the clear on the tail lights.
Great paint job. One minor thing, what is holding the spare road wheel on?
I found a nifty feature on the forums called HIDE USER.
I was going to try it on myself and go stealth, but it only works on other users.
