Thanks to Ciro(Wakemeup) I went and looked up the manual for the grenade launchers we see on Hummers in Iraq. I know a few of you all asked also how the darn things are wired inside the Hummer. Well here you all go, straight from the parts manual which I had all the time here in my shop.
Sorry Ciro, I couldn't get you measurements, but I hope this helps out.
Here is the trigger:
Launchers, Brackets and Mounts:
For a standard turtle back Hummer:
For Up-Armored Hummer (M1114):
And the grenades and ammo box themselves:

Thanks for posting these!
Is there a separate TM for the earlier model mounts, as seen on Humvee's during the arrest of Saddam's sons? I believe these had large adjusting screws added to the mounts.
cheers,
Marc

Another great diagram Pete. Thanks for researching that for us. One stupid question though. I noticed the diagrams showing how the wiring harness is routed show the wiring harness being "draped" down in between attachment points. My question is, "wouldnt the wiring harness be pulled reasonably tight in a real installation?" Common sense would tell me this harness wouldnt be loose in reality as it would tend to get cought and broken by people entering and exiting the vehicle.

Excellent question Gary. I say excellent, because I was planning how I'd drap the wire!!! The Army caters these manuals and diagrams for dummies but sometimes its hard to distingish these ETM diagrams with the real thing!
