I was just over at the greatmodels website looking at the prices for the AFV Club SdKfz 11 I noticed that there is a second type that's released The SdKfz 11/4 Nebelkraftwagen item# av3551 It says as used on the Eastern front
Can anyone please tell me the difference between that one and the SdKfz 11 Leichte Zukraftwagen? Item #av3540 I also wonder if the workable links item #3544 are available I didn't see the SdKfz 11/4 or the workable indy links at the Squadron site
I would like to build one for the Barbarossa group build, but I want to make sure I build the right version

SdKfz 11/1 & 11/4: Had smoke generating equipment installed.
SdKfz 11/2 & 11/3: Chemical warfare decontamination equipment.
Thus the 11/4 was used to lay a screen of fog/smoke over the battlefield and was used extensively on all fronts. If you want to reproduce an Op Barbarossa vehicle, I will find out a unit for you:

The following are some ideas for you.

119 Pz Art, 11th Panzer Div, Eastern Front 1941 in German Gray.
89th Pz Art, 24th Panzer Div, Eastern Front 1942 in German Gray.
SS 3rd Panzer Div, Kharkov 1943 in German Gray with whitewash.
The nebelkraftwagen I believe means smoke generator in German.
of course the one I forgot:
Sd.Kfz.11/5 mittlere Gasspuerkraftwagen meaning : gas detection vehicle.
