Nice!
Is it the Dragon model or the Italeri one?
Just a note concerning the camop scheme: are the green stripes supposed to cover the jerry cans too?

Hi James! This is the Italeri kit done OOB except for a JR replacement barrel for the main gun.

I applied the camo over the jerry cans in this particular case more as a personal choice than anything based on references...as most of the reference photos I've got don't show the jerry cans as present or if they are, they are on non-camo vehicles. Given their location and prominence, I don't think it's far-fetched to think the crews would field apply the camo over them but don't have anything to back that up one way or the other.

I just want to know if the driver's mirror should be on the right side or the left. The Dragon kit instruction shows it to be on the left side. Which is correct? Also there is not painting instruction for the interior. What did you paint yours?

The mirror should be on the left side. Traffic drives on the right side of the road, hence the mirror on the left. Photographic evidence also puts the mirror (if present, most photos show the mirror, and even posts, missing) on the left.

Cheers

Noli,
I didn't paint the interior since this one is "buttoned up" but if I had, it would've been "elfenbein" or Interior Buff (the MM color description) given when the Pumas were produced.

Henk,

Italeri gives you two mirrors...guess they figured it was better safe than sorry! If the Puma had been captured by the British, would they have moved the mirror to the opposite side I wonder? :-)

Ah yes i remembered this entry. Liked the way you painted the wooden handles and the overall subtle weathering.

well done!

Sarge,
Thanks for the info regarding the mirrors. So the dragon instruction is right. I also thought this was the dragon kit cuz the built was great!
