Hello everybody,
I have Accurate Armours Foden which has the old Michelin directional tread pattern. The new tread pattern is multi direction (diamond shaped).
I was wondering if there are any vehicles that use the same tires, I believe some of the MR MODERN range that AA sell might work but I'm not sure what size wheels are on the
M923A1
Luchs
MAN 7t.
Also the cab is about 3mm too small so the roof doesn't fit would AA replace this for me?
Also has anyone built this kit and if possible could they post some pics I have only found one by a Mike Powers.
Thanks

... I have built dozens of AA's Fodens over quite a few years and -NEVER-had a bad roof fit -----it is a very.."snug-fit"..so you will have to ease the sides of the cab outwards.....if it still dont fit then send back and AA WILL replace
A few pics of my Fodens ----2 are scratch ---pre AA ---
AA -plus scratch trailer
Scratchbuilt and trailer

Wow, I like the 20t Taskers. Well all of them. :-)
I think my dad might know you. Ex Reccy Mech (spock) from Louisburg.
The AA cab is the problem as the two roofs I have are the same size.
Does anyone know about tire sizes on any of the vehicles above, I will try to find my Recovery book and get the exact tire size I know its a Michelin Multi directional xzl, however searching the net has not helped.

Yeah I think he should release the Tasker Trailer as a kit, that would make my day as I could never scratch build.

.........now there's a thought ......if I only had the time ......if I had enough call for it ..........but ........it would be a lot of pennies and time to sink into such a project ...what would I do if left with a load of trailers ...buy more Fodens :-)
Nice try ......but have a few *master *proects to be done before the trailer :-)
May look at it next year ..or the year after ..or ...........mmmmmm!!!

Oh well I will live in hope along with the release of a Chieftan ARV.
I think the Foden has the same size tire as a Hemtt after looking at many pics. can anyone confirm this??

It is possiable to still see the older tyres fitted on DROPS/Foden's etc even a mixture of both but never one of each on the same axle though

Are there any aftermarket companys that make replacement wheels for the Hemmt?
I take it i just need to drill out the rims and put new tyre on AA rim.... I can see this going pear shaped.
