Hi...im about to buy my second kit. I'm after 1/35 Tamiya's German 8ton semi-track 20mm Flak-something sdkfz 7/1. Is this a good kit to get or should i avoid it ? Thanks in advance.

Hi,
I've one and I liked it, fit of parts without problems.
Of course you can improve it with PE - replacement of gun shields and so on - but it looks nice OOB even considering it has about 20 years.

SdKfz 7/1 20mm FLAK vierling is a lovely model. Built it some years ago but I don't remember any major points. There are useful aftermarket goodies for this,
ELEPHANT 1/35 SCALE GUN BARRELS & BRASS DETAIL SETS
ABER Magazines and Ammo boxes for Germam FlaK 30 and FlaK 38
EDUARD Sd.Kfz. 7/1 Flakvierling (designed to be used with the Tamiya kits)
to name but a very few.
