Sorry, but your initial post is quite hard to understand.
Are you asking about general assembly tips for models in general?
When you ask about covers and not getting the painted part dirty, are you asking about masking?
What's really confusing is your last comment,

what is the best way to the The camo. ( what is camo?)

If you're asking how to paint camoflage, you already know what it is. Or are you asking about a specific pattern?
Please post a more carefully worded question and you'll get a better response.
Remember the old adage, you only get one chance to make a good first impression and your wasn't that good.

Best thing I found to do here was read, read, read. then read some more.
There is a huge amount of info around here and many of your questions can be answered quickly with a browse through the FAQs in the painting forums and many other areas. People here are really friendly and helpfull so ask away, its best if you can give a specific question so we can give the best answers we can.

Happy modeling.

Its probably best to get a modeling basics book or two for building. For painting you can visit this site:

http://www.scaleworkshop.com/workshop.htm

There are a lot of videos of models actually being finished.

There are also tons of other painting threads here including 'painting tank threads(treads)' that is the third thread down of the painting forum as another example. In the 'features' section there are a lot of other step-by-step builds you can read up on.

In the general modelling forum you can click on the blue link 'advice on' link in the yellow box above the forums to filter it for threads asking advice-and in the armor/afv forum you can also click on the 'techniques' link for more of the same. There are thousands of threads that can help as just about every question has already been asked dozens of times(yet there is always a few new answers each time).
