The best service of the year has to go to the Tasca online shop. I paid for my order on December 4th and got it TODAY!!!!!! Granted, I live on the west coast(Portland, OR), but this is amazing. The kit is almost as close to perfect as I can imagine. It even looks better than their Luchs, which really is saying something. The review photos just don't do it justice. 2006 model of the year? Without a doubt! Thank you Tasca! Excellent service, excellent products, and all this from a quiet little company that isn't constantly screaming about how great they are. They just do it right. Really, I can't say enough about them. Tasca, I like your style! Cheers, Erol
P.S. The .50 cal is amazing, a real little jewel of a kit. Brilliant.

Hi Erol
Glad you are so pleased with your kit. I was going to buy this myself but was concerned about how much import duty I would have to pay in the U,K, Add VAT and it could be quite a bit!
I had to pay a lot once when I imported from the U.S.A> and have been wary ever since.
Cheers
Tony

Wow Erol
Quite the endorsement! The little details on the hatches look to be great, and a realistic .50cal is such a bonus... I wonder what it would translate to in Aussie $...

Honeycut,
Take a look at this from Hobby Link Japan:
http://www.hlj.com/product/tac35009

You can get an idea by the cost in Euros and US $. If you have pay-pal they will convert it for you. I was sceptical at first but now, after hearing all the very positive reviews, I am a believer that these kits are worth their weight in gold.

Hope this helps.

I got mine direct from Tasca including postage for €54 plus my free .50 calibre.
It's a great model. Fit of parts, crispness accuracy etc is all 100%
I have another on the way from HLJ. The postage is slightly cheaper but takes longer and you don't get the free .50 cal

Hey Jim,
Any intel on when this kit is due to arrive in the States? I finally got around to working on my Luchs kit and if it is any indication of the quality of the Firefly I am going to have a ball.

Judging by the response this must the quite the Firefly kit. I might just try one to eradicate the earlier experience I had when I build the Dragon version...

Got my notice from Hobbybuy.com so I should be receiving it sometime next week.

$47 plus free shipping in the US, hard to beat that. Looking forward to digging in on it.
