I was interested in incorporating an aircraft (crashed) in a WWII diorama. Are there models in that scale of aircraft? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

There aren't any aircraft kits in 1:35. 1:32 planes are very close though, close enough to use in the same diorama.

Okay, thank you for the information. I had checked several kit makers for aircraft in 1/35 and hadn't found any, but I had seen several planes in some of the dioramas. thanks for the help.

John,
Actually a company called Bronco makes a 1/35 scale Piper Cub. I have considered purchasing it myself for a diorama. I know it can be found on Great Models website
Too many ideas, too little time.
I hope this helps.

I believe it was GUnze Sangyo who made a doned German Me109 some time back in 1/35. They
pop up on Ebay every now and again. I will go look now and see if I can find one.
Edit: well, couldnt find one anywhere, but this one sold recently. I checked and the kit is OOP, but I am sure if you keep your eyes open, you should be able to find one soon enough.

Edit #2: OK, here is one! 29.99 too!

Hi John,
Gary is right about the Me109,i've been looking for the kit in question on ebay for sometime.I think that the scale is actually 1/32,and the kit is not a full length plane,It is actually cut off a little bit after the cockpit area.Included in the kit is an armed German pilot fleeing the crash scene.
Good luck with the dio idea mate, sounds like it's going to be an interesting one!
Cheers,Shay

Hi John
If you are not on a budget, GMP Diecast has released a P-40 and some P-51 1/35 diecast models...But it would be a shame to use one for a crash diorama...
I've seen some of them popping up from time to time on eBay..
GMP Diecast website
Maybe it's not too late for a nice letter to Santa Claus
