I'm about to start a Academy Tiger I E with interior (early), but I wanted to get some advice from you knowledgeable folks before I started. I want to reproduce a 1SS LAH Tiger with a dark yellow coat and winter whitewash. Although I'm not sure if those particular Tigers were early models, I was more concerned with the painting technique.
How may one do the following paintjob?
Here are Academy's pictures.

Hi Rich, instead of typing out a long winded reply, I think it would be better
for you to check out Chris Leeman's excellent article on Winter Finishes.

AFV modeler had an issue number 3 I think that had a great article actually 3 parts on applying winter finish to tanks. Lets see first one was joe cool and then small russian tank and the last one was a Sherman with dozer blade. See if you can find it.
