Dont know if this vid has been posted before, but I just came across this
on google and thought it was rather interesting. It looks as though its the drive up highway 8, as the video mentions the 4 underpasses, I wonder what company this tank is with??

I think Bob said he had the full length video curtosy of SFC Olsen and said it was about an hour long. I might be wrong though, so hopefully he sees this.

Yes, I was lucky enough to see all 2 1/2 hrs of this video way back when. Now, with sites like Yu Tube seeing this sort of video is fairly common, but at the time this was real jaw dropping stuff. It is A66 that took this (the loader) and one part he did not describe in the above linked video is the part where you see a minaret way in the distance. You hear someone yell out and then the barrel of the 240 comes crashing down onto the camera - that was a sniper engaging them and just missed. The loader smartly took cover into the hatch.
Not only does the video show the heart racing stuff as shown, but also plenty of the mundane part of the march up to Baghdad; sitting around eating, checkpoints, etc.
I think most telling is that you can see they were not traveling very fast in the thunder run. I think many people get the impression from PR videos that the tanks are moving at 40 or 50 MPH most of the time during attacks, but that is rare. This was a 2 hour 25 MPH run, with a number of stops too.
There is also another 2hr + video from another loader of a HQ tank showing the first thunder run, including the part where they took the wrong turn and everybody had to turn around. As they near the airport the camera gets blown away - obviously they were able to save the video.
