Hello everyone!

Does anyone have any info on Trumpeter's K1A1? Things like its accuracy of the kit, if there's any detail sets-if you need one-and any reference photos or books out there on this subject.

I built the Trumpeter kit a while ago. It came out pretty nicely. No real problems. One issue though. The storage boxes on the turret sides are molded without bottoms. I closed them up with some sheet styrene. You can see it in my photos here at Armorama.

The Trumpeter kit of the K1A1 actually depicts the prototype and not the production version. On the production version there is a different make and style of Commander's independent sight mounted...no one makes an aftermarket part to replace it. There are also some other minor changes to hull details.

Your best bet for reference material is to start doing a whole bunch of internet searches. There are some very goo walkarounf images to be found if you take the time to look.

i built the trumpeter kit and had the same problem with the turret storage boxes! i have a question did the soviets use bt 2 and bt 7 in their war with the japanese in manchuria and what was the tanks basic colors hope one of you can answer this thanks
