Newbie here. I'll be doing Zvezda BTR-80A and SKIF BMP-3. From what I researched, modern Russian camo has no definitive standard. I got these paint schemes from a previous post :
1. Dark Green
2. Green, Sand and Black
3. Green, Grey and Black
4. Green, Grey, Sand and Black

In pictures from MP.net, I saw a two-tone scheme of either Sand and Dark Green or Sand and Dark Brown, or Grey and Dark Brown -- Are these standard for some of the units?

Which Tamiya acryllic paint XF shall I use for :
1. Green or Dark Green -- Tamiya Dark Green, Olive Green or Nato Green?
2. Sand - Tamiya Desert Yellow?
3. Grey -- which one ?
4. Black - flat black or Nato Black?

TIA.

I asked this question a couple months back and got a whole bunch of replys.

I used Tamiya NATO green for my T-72 and I think it looks great.

I think you have a bit of latitude when it comes to painting Russian armour.

The problem is that Tamiya XF sereis does not have a good match for sand or grey. They really must be mixed from the XF series to get a good looking match.

Green is probably most accurate using Dark Green

Black is best using NATO black.

There are also some "local schemes" out there. Brown on Sand was one seen in Afghanistan. I have also seen grey on green in Chechnya. I am not certain if they are "standard" or if they are a local unit change.
