Hi all,
Just wondering if there is an aftermarket turret/correction set for the old Tamiya Grant. I have the Verlinden interior, ( I may even have some etch kicking around somewhere), but I'm after the turret...anyone know of anything?
I am aware of Academys forthcoming Grant.
Thanks
Pete

Armoured Brigade is what you're after. They'll be releasing one for the Academy kit.

Armoured Brigade Models are available direct from the manufacturer Sid Arnold, at: [email protected]

Hi Roy,
Thanks, I talked to Sid and he mentioned that it would be available in the New Year. I was wondering if the Tamiya kit ever had an aftermarket kit available.
Thanks

Eduard did a few PE sets for the Tamiya Grant. I believe the last one they did before they went to the big bag sets was 35474 Grant late. Other than that, I believe the only other AM for that kit was just the ability to use generic Sherman tracks, road wheels, etc. on the kit itself.

Oh, and there was the Grant CDL conversion by Verlinden as well.

SId originally made a full resin M3 Lee and M3 Grant. Then he also released smaller "Update" sets to be combined with the Tamiya kit.

He's retooled the older kits to fit the new Academy stuff.
