Personally I love it. I had saved these pics on my hard drive just to look at. I'm no military personel but I like what I see. I love that newspaper and sign in the back. I love the small details. Great job man. Always been a fan of the two color paint sheme. Awesome work.

Good taste on the teeny details. I love the way the paper, the boxes and the signboard fill up the vehicle. One comment though, the glass looks more like frosted than dusted. You just sprayed dull coat over the glass right?

CIro,
THat humvee rocks! Aside from what has been said about the windows, my only critique is, "where is the radio antenna?". Again, beautiful job.

Ciro, ma il cartello e le scatole dell'acqua minerale le hai comprate oppure le hai fatte tu?
Sto cercando da tempo qualcosa per evitare acquisto.
Anyway your work is really wanderfull.

Ciao Ciro,
Very nice work. I like the color combinations and subtle weathering. The HMMWV is the center of attention not the weathering..
What did you use to dust the windshield? Something you could try if you are not happy with it is to "clean" the windshield with a cotton swab that is just damp with a little of the appropriate thinner (alcohol for acrylic, etc. ). Makes it look like the window was cleaned by the driver with a rag or something. Just think of how a real one is cleaned and rub it the same way.
Oh yeah, what did you wrap the tailgate chains with to create the rubber sleeving? Everything I tried on mine failed to produce a good look.
Again, nice job.

My only 'pick' is the window blocks (what else to call something 3in. thick!) on the crew doors. Did you heavily 'dust' them too or are they painted over in tan? If they're painted over, I've never seen the up-armor glass treated that way in or out of theater. Nice model nonetheless. Add the requisite miniature copy of (your pick) Maxim/Stuff/FHM and it'll look right at home.

Hi again.....
thanks to all for your comments and suggestions,my original idea was to depict an humvee parked and not operative...so when it parked I think that all block windows are coverd by dust but in my model it's to heavy...sure next work I'll do not this error....

Ciro,
I think you can fix it at this model... just wipe off the dust or make widshield cleaners marks.
At the side blocks you can also wipe off, letting the heavy dust only at ehe borders, depicting the accumulation of dust at those areas.
I hope this help!
Bye,
Marcelo

Looking good. Where did the water boxes come from? They really add that local touch.

Antoher great looking Hummer added to the campaign album Ciro.
Are you going to add a starp to the hatch back to secure the water bottle boxes?

Well done, Ciro! I like it a lot. The build is very good, the paint job is excellent, and the subtle weathering strikes my fancy. As other have mentioned, the windows are the weak spot. That said, if this is just your second model since coming back to the hobby, it is waaaay better than anything I've been able to crank out so far. Especially considering you used the Eduard photoetch set.
Cheers!
