I have the Italeri M24 Chaffe kit 244 I read somewhere that this kit has engineering equipment pads that weren't on the WW 2 versions Can anyone verify this? I don't know of any good books on the M24 If they weren't on the WW2 version guess I'll have to make mine a Korean version
They are molded on the lower front hull Not sure if I could remove them without damaging the hull I guess I'll have to wait for Italeri to release the WW2 version this year #:-)

Yes - this is correct information. You could cut them away and repair the resulting damage to the lower front hull plate without too much trouble.
R.P. Hunnicutt's reference book and Squadron Signals coverage is pretty good.
