Hi there..
I took a look and it appears to be a ZU-23-2 (Zenitnaya Ustanovka (anti air) 23 mm twin) developed in the late 1950's and used to present day.. here are some links..

hey,
PERFECT!! thank you so very much,my son and I ,mainly build WWII era ,in 1/35 ,so i didnt recognize it,but it pretty sharp lookin,and Iam thinking about picking it up.I've got a ZIS-151 laying around,,it'll put it to good use. happy holidays.

Regarding your question on mounting it. It has been placed on a lot of different vehicles:
I have seen photos of it on:
Humvees (Africa somewhere)
Gaz trucks
BMP (Cannot remember if it is BMP1 or BMP 2 hull)
BMD (Cannot remember what version)
There are probably many more. It seems like the Russians will stick it to anything to get mobile AAA.
