Nice! I'm not familiar with this tank (looks very Abrams-ish), but I really like the dusty effect you achieved on the lower hull and sideskirts. Congrats.

That's really an awesome job on the dust effect on a cool looking tank!

Very good paint job Tanker, i love your dusty effect on the runnig gear.
The photos are a little too dark but i think you have captured a good rendition of the italian army green.
A quick note on the markings.
Your vehicle represents an early production tank that saw very limited service within the 32th Tank Regiment so the markings are wrong in this case. You must add the serial number plate, the Regiment code/emblem and the colored rectangulars (nont the romboids you can find on the decals sheet!) on the turret front.
....And remove the U.S. Army rucksacks from the turret, the Esercito Italiano don't uses that kind of item but its own type.
Ciao

Thanks guys!
Sabot 65,
I acknowledged your comments. I really appreciate the pointers. Regarding the equipments, i just put them there because the rear stowage is kinda bare
Again, thanks to all!

Nice work on your C1 Ariete, Tanker25. Looks good. I'm considering getting this kit, did you use any aftermarket ?
Gaetano, where can you get good online information on the C1 Ariete and other modern Italian vehicles ? Thanks.
Cheers !!

One thing that is missing from the kit is the port for the coaxial machine gun . It should be to the left of the main gun on the mantlet...not your fault, it's an omission in the kit.

Bob,
I used the lion roar PE set. Good value for the money
Jason,
Im also wondering the same thing when Im building it. I also noticed that theres no MG for the starboard side (commanders copula?).
I suppose the main gun is not the production type?
thanks for viewing and comments.

Robert in my opinion the best on line source for modern italian AFVs is www.ferreamole.it ....but it's only in italian.
Check also the italian modelling site Modellismo Pił, there is a very good reference gallery at http://www.modellismopiu.net/m+gallerie/main.php?g2_itemId=15 and click on Corazzati (Tanks) or on Blindati (Armored Vehicles)
