Hi,
I bought the new 1/72 Firefly, and it has a little 50cal machine gun (part B5) that I'd like to mount on it. It is marked as unused, and I have no idea how and which parts are needed from the unused ones to mount the gun nevertheless. (Historical accuracy is not a concern )
If anyone has other DML Shermans which do have this gun mounted, please send me which parts are used for that.

You need some "A" sprue parts that are not included with the Firefly kit. The "A" sprue with the 76mm turret is entirely different. The parts from the 76mm turret are A14 handgrips, A21 pintle, A29 ammo can.

The pintle mounts onto part A23 which is part A11 in the M4A4 kit I have handy (similar kit to the Firefly). The little nub on the circumference needs to be drilled out on your kit part. That's where the pintle mounts.

I have the DML1/72 M4A3(76)W
Part B5 as you said is the .50cal, part A14 is the handle/grips, A29 goes in the left side (ammo box), and part A21 is the mount, of which the pins slant to the rear of the gun...
