Does anyone have the old M3 from Tamiya. I am looking into getting one for the rear cargo hatch since it has a diffrent shape than the M2 hatch. I am trying to see if the Tamiya kit actually has the periscopes in the hatch, and if the hatch is the same shape as the current M3A2 ODS hatches.

The M3 had the same hatch as the M2. The M3-specific style of hatch did not take place until the M3A1.
The original Tamiya M3 kit is the same exact plastic parts as their M2 minus the interior.

Thanks Rob, so now the question is, where do I get that particular hatch? Does anyone know of a 1/35 scale actual M3A2 hatch?
