Just started this kit, on step one of the instructions give the builder the option of using part V19 or V20, does anyone know the significance of choosing one or the other? Thanks.

What these parts are, are the sprockets that actually connect the Transmission to the Track. The only diffrence is the shape of the sprocket which made it somewhat lighter, not by much though. V19 is the newer style and most likely to be seen. However V20 style may still be found also. The two are not interchangeable though. You must use the same style on the same hub. Reason being is that where the bolt was located on the older style sprocket (V20) was moved on the newer style. So there for the teeth would be offset if you inter mixed them.
