I have just started a M109 and was wondering if anybody has had any problems with it. So far everything has fit perfectly...It's looking good and should be done within a few weeks. I am planning and making a diarama of the tank sitting next to some kind of tent. with a few guys target shooting in the back or the guys drinking beers while sitting on the tank. It should be fun but its still in the first stages of construction.

All in all, it's a pretty easy kit without any major headaches. As I remember there were a few minor sinkholes on mine, but nothing earth shattering.

I have built a few, mind the front of the hull to the lower hull.Sometimes there is a gap there.
Are you doing it OOB?
I think building a revetment around itwould be a nice touch.

I've got an old Testors/Italeri M109/M109G coming in the mail and an M109A6 Paladin waiting in the wings. I grabbed a set of Skybow M108/M109 individual tracks and the Barrel Depot M109 and M109A6 aluminum barrels. I'd love to do an interior for one of these since I have an M109A4 and M109A5 at work.

Go and get the warriors interior Sabot for both the hull and turret. it gives you most of what you need to make a nice kit.

I built the long barreled version (A1?) from Italeri a few years back. IIRC, the kit tube is a bit too long. You might want to verify that. Other than that, it's typical Italeri and was a good build, with no major problems.
